Blacks rewards Thanet’s emergency services Blacks, the outdoor clothing and leisure equipment retailer at Westwood Cross, is holding a special promotion for local emergency services employees. The promotion will enable employees to receive great discounts on the store’s range of brands which include The North Face and O’Neill. The discount evening will be held on 25th and 26th January between 6pm and 8pm. Employees working within Thanet’s emergency services can receive up to 25% off purchases by simply presenting an ID badge in store. The local initiative is the first of its kind for the Westwood Cross store which opened in September 2006. Blacks is a specialist retailer of outdoor and travel equipment catering for the serious walker, camper, hiker, adventure traveller and skier. It stocks the UK’s best known brands for technical clothing, footwear and equipment and provides customers with on-hand expert knowledge and advice from its renowned helpful and friendly sales teams. Blacks Store Manager Luke Anderson said: “We are relatively new to the area and it is fantastic to have the opportunity to give something back to the community in this way. The work done locally by people in the emergency services should be recognised and rewarded in whatever way possible.” Westwood Cross is home to a range of quality high street stores including Debenhams, Next, TK Maxx and Marks & Spencer. Whether its fashion, homeware, gifts or somewhere to meet and eat with friends you’re looking for, Westwood Cross has something for everyone. For more information visit www.westwoodx.co.uk
