Easter fun day at Westwood Cross

Westwood Cross Shopping Centre is holding an Easter family fun day on Sunday 1st April, including a collection for chocolate eggs and gifts to be donated to the Queen Elizabeth Queen Mother Hospital.

Westwood Cross is working with Stagecoach to collect chocolate eggs and gifts which will be donated to the children’s ward at the QEQM Hospital. Shoppers can bring their donated items to the bus which will be parked at Westwood Cross all day.

David Plumb, Centre Manager at Westwood Cross said: “Easter is a traditionally time when families get together and I’m delighted that we can provide these small gestures for children who are in hospital this bank holiday. Shoppers can add just one extra chocolate egg to their basket this year and know that they will be making someone’s day when we deliver our gifts on 9th April. I’d like to thank Stagecoach and everyone else who is involved in this scheme.”

The fun will start from 11am until 5pm when children can meet the Easter Bunny and Chick in the mall and take part in the special Easter Egg Hunt. Simply collect an Egg Hunt entry form from the Debenhams foyer and spot the 15 hidden eggs within Westwood Cross’ stores to take part. Three lucky winners will receive a shopping voucher prize from Westwood Cross. Winners will be notified on Tuesday 10th April.

Westwood Cross is open on Good Friday and Bank Holiday Monday for fabulous family shopping. Park free and visit the range of stores which include Debenhams, TK Maxx, Next, Marks & Spencer and many more. For more information and style ideas from Westwood Cross, visit www.westwoodx.co.uk.
