Centrale Shopping Centre supported Breast Cancer Awareness Month this October by hosting a variety of pink activities including a spectacular fashion catwalk show hosted by TV personalities GMTV’s fashion guru Mark Heyes and Channel 4’s 10 years younger hair stylist Andrew Barton.
Style Live Pink is the ultimate fashion and beauty extravaganza that showcased all the latest fashion trends. The spectacular catwalk show hosted by the two TV personalities took place at the shopping centre across three consecutive days from Thursday 30th October until Saturday 1st November. Shoppers were also invited to join Mark and Andrew in the Style and Hair Lounges where they were given the exciting and exclusive opportunity of asking them for great style tips and the latest trends as well as participating in live demonstrations – all in aid of a great cause.
As well as Style Live Pink, Centale held a whole host of exciting pink activities from 20 October to 1 November, all in aid of raising money for Breast Cancer charities. Activities included a pink tea and cake afternoon, pink face painting, an Eco fashion show, plus breast cancer advice drop in sessions.
The event was a huge success, not only did the centre raise an outstanding £8,000 for Breast Cancer charities, Centrale also secured widespread coverage in the local press.
LMMC Director Lesley Marsh said “We have worked closely with Centrale to create this exciting, high profile fashion extravaganza event that was an overwhelming success for our client”
LMMC has worked as marketing consultants for Centrale since January 2007 to position the scheme as the premium fashion and lifestyle destination for shoppers in Croydon.
