RDM wins regional accolade at the Accelerate Annual Awards RDM, the leading designer and manufacturer of products and electrical systems for the automotive industry has won the Coventry and Warwickshire regional accolade for its success with its Auto-txt vehicle security product at the annual Accelerate Awards. More than 650 representatives of the motor industry witnessed managing director Dave Keene receive the award on behalf of the company from television presenter Quentin Wilson. Dave Keene said: “The Accelerate award is a fantastic achievement and recognises the hard work of everyone involved in the business.” David Malpass, senior operations manager at Accelerate, said: “The competition just keeps getting better and better. It is vital that we celebrate the strength of our manufacturing capabilities to the rest of the world and let people know that we are leading the way in technology, added value engineering and quality. “RDM is a prime example. The management team has built on its core expertise to develop and take to market a product that delivers a real solution to car theft.” The Auto-txt tracking and security system was launched in 2005 has achieved strong sales growth. Jaguar, Land Rover and Aston Martin have awarded Pan-European contracts to Auto-txt to fit the product on their vehicles. |
