Sensational Summer at Kings Mall shopping centre

As the credit crunch hits, more people are opting for a ‘Staycation’ choosing to spend their summer holidays in Britain rather than travelling abroad. Kings Mall shopping centre will be making parents lives easier during the school holidays by bringing the sunshine to Hammersmith! An exciting jam-packed entertainments schedule has been devised transforming the centre into a children’s paradise, complete with face painters, balloon modellers, clowns and animals! There will be plenty of fun, games, energy and lots of laughter, and best of all everything is FREE!

 Every Friday and Saturday throughout August Alakazam will be entertaining the crowds with free face painting, balloon modelling and lots of wacky costumes! Shoppers can join in the fun and laughter 11am – 4pm. 

On a mores serious topic The Children’s Traffic Club, a proven and successful road safety scheme developed to help parents teach road skills to 3-4 years olds will be at the centre on Friday 21st August. Following the Mayor of London’s commitment to reduce the number of children killed or seriously injured on London’s roads by 60% by 2010, Transport for London is proud to fund The Children’s Traffic Club. The very latest addition to the Traffic Club is a lively performance with balloon characters that represent key road safety messages.  These half hour shows are an engaging interaction with stories, song and dance highlighting the key road safety messages. Free Back to School Arts and Crafts Workshops will run 11am – 4pm on Saturday 29th, Sunday 30th and Monday 31st August. Children will get the opportunity to decorate and personalise their own pencil cases, P.E bags and caps in preparation for returning back to school.  A messy and fun activity that children will love to participate in! 

The entertainment doesn’t end there on Tuesday 1st and Wednesday 2nd September Petwise Petting Zoo will be at the centre giving children the unique opportunity to see and handle many animals from rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets and chicks to the more exotic creatures such as lizards and snakes. The extremely popular attraction includes a full timetable of activities such as beetle racing, animal grooming and feeding.
