Westwood Cross Easter event delights local children

Westwood Cross has put smiles on the faces of many children this Easter, following its Easter gift collection on 1st April. Events in the mall were organised to entertain all the family and to encourage shoppers to donate chocolate eggs and other gifts to the local QEQM Hospital children’s ward.

Stagecoach was on hand along with special guests the Easter Bunny, Easter Chick and some volunteers to help distribute the gifts with the Westwood Cross management team on 9th April.

Tracie Stevens, Marketing Manager at Westwood Cross said: “The response has been amazing, I’m really thrilled. We had so many donations that we were also able to give some of the gifts to several other hospital wards as well as the Royal School for Deaf Children in Margate and the Martha Trust in Deal. I’d like to thank everyone who helped out and of course everyone who gave their time and money to donate gifts.”
