The 2015 Carols at Warwick Castle event was a sell-out success and once again provided many people with a joyful start to Christmas celebrations with friends and families.
The annual event at Warwick Castle which attracts 2,500 people is one of those special community initiatives that provides a great evening out, raises thousands of pounds for local charities and good causes and unites locally based businesses with the communities they depend on.
LMMC has worked on the event as a committee member and sponsor for the past decade providing marketing and PR support, web services, social media and liaison with local sponsors and the key charities.
The charities behind the event are The Rotary Foundation, Warwick Lions and The Friends of St Mary’s Choir. The money raised goes to causes which might otherwise struggle to get funding, with typical donations of past years including paying for defibrillators for Warwick Ambulance Association, groundwork for a garden gazebo at the Heathcote rehabilitation hospital, support for children at Northleigh House School and help for families in need of essential household goods.
In addition to ticket sales, event support is provided by several local sponsors including Phillips 66/Jet which provides fuel to consumers through its network of around 330 independently operated sites, across the UK and has a 120 strong workforce in Warwick. Support is also provided by other sponsors Warwick Castle, Warwick Printing, LM Marketing Communications and Leamington Mazda.
Selwyn Rowley of LMMC says:”The task has now started to raise the bar again and make the 2016 event even better, so any companies who would be interested in sponsoring the event next year just need to contact me.”
